Where can you teach your 17+ son or daughter in your own car on private land ? At Turweston Aerodrome with Driving Ambition you can Turweston Aerodrome is private land. Learner drivers are only allowed in with a permit from Driving Ambition Available anytime between 9am and 5pm. You can stay as long as you wish during the day of your permit. You can leave and re-enter the site and use the onsite cafe and toilets. Private practice permits are limited to learner drivers who are already 17+ and need somewhere safe to start practicing either with a provisional or full licence. The driver MUST be insured to use your car. The supervising driver must be over 21 and been driving for at least 3 years Under 17 off-road drivers are now only permitted with Driving Ambition on a lesson.
